Waxy maize has become very popular with bodybuilders lately, not just in Australia, but internationally as well. With waxy maize, the major difference with waxy maize and other carbohydrates is the molecular weight.

Waxy maize is much higher molecular weight so what that means is it is absorb much quicker. With the Monster Maize you would use that while you train. The main thing Monster Maize is going to do because it is a carbohydrate, once again talking about the glycogen stores it is going to keep them full and you will also notice your energy levels while you are training will be better because there is fuel constantly coming into the body.

That is probably the best way to explain it.

CytoSport Monster Milk is a protein based product. I would probably classify it as a lean mass gainer in so much as it is very high in protein. You get 50 grams of protein per serve. You get 18 grams of carbohydrates and 9 grams of fats. The whole premise behind Monster Milk is obviously to get a large quantity of protein into the muscle to allow it to rebuild and recover. The carbohydrates are there to add more calories and more fuel to the body and they use a blend of fats, CytoSport uses essential fatty acids predominately to help your body to burn the stored fats. A lot of people are concerned about fats in protein products, but the fats CytoSport use in the Monster Milk and Muscle Milk as well are essential fatty acids which are designed to help the body burn its own stored fats.

Lactose free, lactose is becoming more and more of an issue in the Western world. Lactose intolerance, most people are actually semi lactose intolerant. Its just the degree of lactose intolerance varies between people. So what CytoSport has done is decided to pull lactose out of their Monster Milk and Muscle Milk product. What that means is when some people take a protein shake, may not realise they are lactose intolerant and may get a little stomach upset and discomfort. Since there is not lactose in the CytoSport Monster Milk and CytoSport Muscle Milk products, there is no stomach pains and discomfort when you take it.

On the label of the new CytoSport Monster Amino, it has how to mix the new supplement but it does not make it clear on when to use it. Is Monster Amino a pre-workout, an intra or a post-workout? Can you take it with the other CytoSport Monster products including the Monster Maize, Monster Milk or Monster Pump? Well, I managed to interview an body building expert on the proper use of Monster Amino and here is what he said. Note, if you are interested in the full video interview, just leave this article a comment and I will send you the video interview link.

The Monster Amino has 5000 mg of BCAAs in a waxy maize Maltodextrin blend, again CytoSport uses the carbohydrate blend. The reason why CytoSport uses the carbohydrate blend is that Monster Amino is a post-workout product to be used after training to replenish the glycogen stores in the muscles.

With the amino acids, protein is made up of amino acids, with the aminos already being separated, it enhances absorption. Absorption is much quicker post-workout so you would take the Monster Amino post-workout and follow it by a protein shake, like Monster Milk, a half hour later.

Note, if you are interested in the full video interview, just leave this article a comment and I will send you the video interview link.

On the label of the new CytoSport Monster Pump, it has how to mix the new supplement but it does not make it clear on when to use it. I know Monster Pump is a pre-workout, but since it contains waxy maize, can you take it with the other CytoSport Monster products including the Monster Maize, Monster Milk or Monster Amino? Well, I managed to interview an body building expert on the proper use of Monster Pump and the other Monster products and here is what he said.

Note, if you are interested in the full video interview, just leave this article a comment and I will send you the video interview link.

Monster Pump is a pre-workout product which is designed to be taken 30 minutes before you train. Unlike many other pre-workout products, CytoSport Monster Pump contains carbohydrates. Monster Pump contains a blend of Maltodextrin and waxy maize which are carbohydrates that are absorbed very quickly into the bloodstream. The whole premise behind this is to increase glycogen stores within the muscle which will increase the effective muscle pump.

There are cell volumising ingredients in Monster Pump as well. Arginine, they use Kre-Alkalyn which is PH Buffered Creatine Monohydrate. CytoSport also uses B-vitamins, caffeine to help with mental focus and energy as well.

What are the results you should expect from the Monster Pump product?

One of the things I noticed after using a lot of different pre-workout products and the main difference is the type of pump that you get. There are different types of pumps that you get. There is a blood pump which you will obviously feel the muscle swell up and you will look a lot fuller, but this tends to disperse around a half an hour after training. You will find that although you will feel pumped while at the gym, by the time you get home, the muscles would start to deflate again.

With Monster Pump, I just find that the pumps are much tighter obviously because the glycogen would have increased the muscle sheaf itself and the muscle cell will expend because there is more glycogen in the muscle. The pump will tend to last a little longer because of the carbohydrates in the muscle cell. That is probably the main difference between the Monster Pump and the other Nitric Oxide or pre-workout products out in the market.

Workout Anabolic Recovery!

WAR is a great complimentary product to MRI Black Powder. The Black Powder is the Pre-Workout and the War is a Intra/Post Workout Formula For Serious Growth!

War represents one of the biggest scientific breakthroughs in recovery – ever. Now you can help increase your body’s adaptive response to training – in less time. Plus, War not only helps you gain more muscle from today’s workout, it primes your body for tomorrow’s training!

New “Heat Shock” Recovery-Acceleration Technology

Triggers Optimal Glycogen Restoration

Proprietary “Muscle Perfect” Amino Acid Ratio Ignites Protein Synthesis

Helps Force Positive Nitrogen Balance (PNB) for Growth

Crea-Charge Creatine: Faster Absorbed and up to 29% More Bioavailable

MRI’s “Heat Shock Protein” Technology:

MRI’s revolutionary new technology targets Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs). HSPs accelerate both speed and efficiency of your body’s adaptive response to training.

Proprietary “Muscle Perfect” Amino Profile:

MRI’s Proprietary Complex gives you the exact amino profile in human muscle tissue. Now you don’t have to wonder if you getting it from food or a combination of supplements. This “human ratio” of amino acids ignites, and accelerates, protein synthesis.

Triggers Glycogen Storage:

MRI’s precise molecular weight “super carb” (waxy maize) helps rapidly trigger the process of glycogen storage. With super-saturated muscle glycogen stores, you increase the training potential of your next workout.

Exclusive “Crea-Charge” Creatine:

MRI’s exclusive Crea-Charge is proven to get absorbed and is 29% more bioavailable. At last, you get “full-load” phospho creatine stores for your next workout.

Induces Positive Nitrogen Balance (PNB):

Positive Nitrogen Balance is your proof of complete recovery. It’s also essential for anabolism. MRI’s War helps force Positive Nitrogen Balance- so you finally gain as much as you train!
